Skylight filters reduce haze in shots, particularly useful in landscapes, and long distance shots where haze and the reduction in the blue colour within shadows is required. The Skylight filters are slightly tinted to reduce this unwanted blue cast.

For greater blue haze reduction, consider the Skylight 1B filters.

This Kood skylight filter can also be used as a permanent lens protector, giving a cheap and cost effective way of preventing damage to expensive lenses.
