The Opticron Aurora 8x42 s are designed without compromise, and stand at the very top of Opticrons binocular range. They offer outstanding performance, are lighter, and sharper and have a wider field of view compared to any previous BGA model, and also have excellent close focus down to only 1.8 metres.

The new Aurora models have been designed to deliver the optimum balance betweeen size and weight, resolution and field of view, in a very high quality roof prism design. The field of view is 7.2 degrees and the weight of the 8x42 are a lightweight 654 grams.This is a great achievement for such a high performing pair of binoculars.

Fully waterproof to a depth of 5m including nitrogen gas filled provides excellent resistance to the most severe conditions, and protects against misting and fogging. The new S-type multicoating that allows the Opticron Aurora models to achieve the highest possible sharpness, colour and contrast even in poor light conditions.

Perfect for the professional birdwatcher or wildlife enthusiast, who insist on only the very best binoculars.
