The Opticron Aurora 8x42s are designed without compromise, and stand at the very top of Opticron's binocular range. They offer truely outstanding performance. The Aurora's are lighter, and sharper and have a wider field of view compared to any previous BGA model, and offer excellent close focus down to only 1.8 metres.

Theese new models have been designed to deliver the optimum balance betweeen size and weight, resolution and field of view, in a very high quality roof prism design. The field of view is 7.2 degrees with the 8x42 and weight only 654 grams.This is a great achievement for such a high performing pair of binocular.

Manufactured using a lightweight yet strong alloy body and fully waterproof to a depth of 5m including nitrogen gas filled provides excellent resistance from the most severe weather conditions. The Aurora's shock resistant rubber armouring with extra objective lens protection make the Aurora's comfortable to use, and helps to ensure perfect operation in years to come.

The new Opticron S-type multicoating that allows the new Aurora models to achieve the highest possible sharpness, colour and contrast even in poor light conditions.
