Tamrac's Expedition 5 is the perfect mid-size pack for a wide range of photo equipment. This medium size photo rucksack offers excellent foam padded protection and quick access to multiple digital or film SLRs, lenses, flash and accessories.

The main compartment is completely foam padded with numerous adjustable padded dividers to protect digital or film SLRs, 5-7 lenses, and a flash, and a camera with a long zoom lens attached is safely suspended on two vertical, foam-padded dividers that are internally reinforced with rigid plastic. A restraint strap holds the lens firmly in place.

Tamrac's Dual "wing" pockets with water resistant zips provide protection from the elements organize and the posckets enable quick and easy access to accessories without disturbing other gear. The backpack's pockets use Tamrac's ingenious red flag system to visually and easily distinguish used batteries, memory cards, or film etc. from fresh or unused ones.

On the rear of the camera rucksack, a tripod can be securely held with Tamrac's QuickClip tripod system and a lower reinforced plastic tripod foot pocket holds two tripod legs secure to prevent the tripod from slipping off.

A large front pocket with a water-resistant zip can hold a waterproof jacket or extra gear if required.

The Expedition 5's main compartment is protected by full foam padding with numerous adjustable dividers giving great protection to. The Expedition is able to carry multiple professional sized digital SLRs or film cameras, including a full range of lenses, and flashguns. An SLR camera with a long zoom lens can be suspended between two vertical foam padded dividers that are also internally reinforced with rigid plastic for added protection.

The Windowpane internal pockets hold filters, memory cards, film and many other accessories which can be clearly seen through the pocket design, and make organisation and selection of the required accessory fast and efficient.

For added protection, the base of the rucksack contains a foam padded platform to provide additional shock protection.

Tamrac's harness system feature double density comfort pads to provide maximum carrying comfort while air flow channels help to keep the user cool and dry even during extended use or warmer weather. The waist belt and shoulder straps are fully adjustable for maximum carry comfort even with heavy equipment loads. The Expedition 5s harness features "D" rings that accept Tamrac's optional backpack camera strap (Model N-11).

Tamrac's Strap Accessory System™ (S.A.S.) and Modular Accessory System™ (M.A.S.) attachment slots on the pack provide a convenient place to carry Tamrac's optional M.A.S.™ and S.A.S.™ products. Four SpiderTabs™ provide additional attachment points for expedition equipment or extra clothing.
